I know it’s not my usual to post images that are not related to Noisy Rain or my work as an artist, but I’ve wanted to share with you these images from my private collection of film photography, another great passion of mine, these photographs are by themselves a source of inspiration for my work, for those who know my work it’s no secret that Art Deco is one of my biggest influences. These photos from the decade of the 1930 were part of the Whitney collection, I got them among many others when the Douglas Whitney collection was put up for auction, most of the photographs I acquired are of Dolores del Rio, the great muse of the Art Deco era and exceptional artist, hope you like them and find them inspiring as I do.
